It has been awhile since I posted. Not because I didn’t have anything to say, but I got locked out of the site for awhile plus it’s been a busy time with a variety of consulting work. It’s been exciting and very fulfilling.
One of the things I am working on and will be over the next few months is the 2020 NAPAMA Agents and Managers Retreat. Working with the NAPAMA Board, we are mapping out what is certain to be a very fulfilling three+ days in New Orleans. As the retreat director, I am working with a great group of colleagues on the logistics and professional development as well as scoping out some of the social and entertainment possibilities for the group when we meet up at the Hilton New Orleans St. Charles, just three blocks from the French Quarter, at the end of May.
So, if you are an agent or manager for a touring performing artist, a self-represented touring artist, or a presenter, consider joining us down in the Big Easy. Hotel reservations and registration will open January 6 with updated information available starting early December. And if you have any top requests for places to visit, eat, or gather, let me know.
