We are moving forward, looking to September 1, when Chibuike will travel to Lagos, Nigeria, for a placement audition at the Muson School of Music. And to make sure his cello gets there and everywhere safely, a generous anonymous donor has provided funds for a fiberglass travel case that just arrived at Chibuike’s home in Onitsha on Sunday, July 28. All of us are overjoyed with being able to make this happen.
With a recent fund raising campaign led by Indiana PA residents Kay Smith and Joyce Sharman, we will soon announce what other items on the wish list we will be able to provide. Although we have a long way to go over the coming months, the news we will post is heartwarming and exciting.
