It’s an exciting time for students all across the globe with schools and universities beginning a new year, many having already started over the last few weeks in fact. And thanks to the generosity of dozens, Chibuike Victor will head to Muson School of Music September 2. He will take placement exams and auditions, then return home to Onitsha for a couple weeks while he awaits word on those placements, then formally begin his studies at Muson around September 25.
And in honor of the this major step on his journey to become a professional cellist, here is a video showing how professional cellist Michael Kevin Jones has been preparing Chibuike to fulfill these dreams.
He has a long way to go yet and will certainly need continued funding from his current and future sponsors. But he is so grateful for the support he has received and is committed to making everyone proud.
