The visa roller coast for Chibuike continues, although new hope is in the air. We have reason to believe that an interview will be granted in time for a January 2026 start at IUP. But, unfortunately, after 6 months of hope and promises, there is still no guarantee.
But regardless, through all of this, Chibuike remains positive and Is working hard to follow the requirements at MUSON School of Music in Lagos, Nigeria, committed to making all his connections strong. But his focus remains on coming to IUP—the sooner the better.
Recently, he put this short video together giving us an eye and ear into his music and his thoughts about this creative expression. And subsequently, although not a Nigerian holiday, he wanted me to pass along his wishes to all Americans for a happy Thanksgiving. I certainly join him in this greeting.
