Chibuike received word on 16 July that his most recent application for a Canadian Study Permit was denied. This is upsetting, but the officer reviewing the application gave us some clear direction and we are feverishly working to submit a reapplication.
Although he could defer at the University of Victoria until January, we are hoping that this next application will be the winner and in time to start class in September.
He has already met a few people online who would be his classmates, has participated in online tutorials on registering, and in regular contact with Professor Pamela, who will be his cello professor.
